Acorn Squash

Half squash

Scoop out seeds. Measure 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1 Tbsp honey into each hollow. Can also add 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts are the best).  Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until soft. Can be served with 1/2 squash per person or scooped out into a bowl with nuts and syrup for serving.

Acorn Squash Rings

Slice squash to form rings and scoop out seeds.  Place rings in pan.  Cover with mixture of 1/4 cup or ange juice, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 Tablespoon brown sugar, and 1 Tablespoon honey.  Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until soft.
