Shipping & Ordering Information

SHELF STABLE Food Orders:

Once the order has shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS tracking number.  Please make sure your email is set up to allow emails from orders@allergygrocer.com & info@allergygrocer.com.  Allow 1-2 work days (not Sat, Sun, or holidays) to process & then ADDITIONAL ship days (see below map) to receive your order (note: this timeframe is not a guarantee).  If you need your order by a specific day, please select ONE, TWO, or THREE DAY UPS shipping.  On holidays & other times we may experience unusually high order volumes so be sure to allow extra work days to receive your order. 

There is a $5 restocking fee to restock your order if it is cancelled so please order carefully. 

Orders to continental USA addresses are shipped Ground United Parcel Service (UPS) to a valid street address (no PO boxes).  A $1.75 processing & handling fee is added to all ground orders.   

Orders to AK, HI, Guam, PR, APO, US territories, & to International countries are sent via United States Postal Service (USPS) Mail.  An additional $18.50 processing & $1.75 handling fee is added to all mail orders.  These orders ship the Thursday following your order regardless of the shipping method chosen.  Delivery charges are based on package weight, final destination, & shipping method.  If needed, enter any additional address information or corrections (should the form be too limiting) in the special instructions box to avoid any extra address correction charges.   Items entering a foreign country are subject to potential customs inspection & extra duties, taxes, & fees outside our control. If you refuse to pay these extra fees the country may choose not to deliver your order but you will still be responsible to pay for the products-we cannot process package refusals for refund.  We cannot refund any incurred shipping costs regardless of whether the items are not delivered or delivered in less than satisfactory condition. 

FROZEN Food Orders:

At this time frozen items can only be shipped to the contiguous USA.  For safe delivery these orders require a special container & dry ice, & to be shipped 3 day UPS express.  An extra $20.50 is added to your cart for each container needed to cover these materials & handling fees.  We realize these orders are expensive but encourage you to order enough to completely fill the container to achieve the best product to shipping cost ratio (10 units fill a container). 

Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery by Friday.  Depending on where you live, regardless of your order day, your order may not ship until the following Monday so that they do not sit in a truck over the weekend.  A tracking number is e-mailed to you when your order ships.  Please realize it is your responsibility to receive the package on the first delivery attempt & make sure someone is home to accept the package.  Non-frozen items cannot be shipped with frozen ones.  Due to safety issues, frozen items cannot be returned so please select carefully & check allergens with the manufacturer prior to your order. 

RUSH ORDERS:  If you need your order faster than Ground UPS shipping timeframes, or guaranteed delivery by a certain date, please select 1, 2, or 3 day select UPS.  Delivery charges are calculated based on the package weight & final destination.  Any rush order received before 1pm EST M-F will ship the same workday.  Orders received after 1pm M-F will not ship until the next business day.  Rush orders received after 1pm Friday will ship the following Monday (unless it is a holiday).   Please make sure you have a valid daytime phone listed & your email is set up to allow emails from orders@allergygrocer.com & info@allergygrocer.com.
