Sweet Potato Bread Source:
Paula Sessing, Recipe Contest Winner Ingredients: 1 package, regular size, Miss Roben’s Potato Bread mix 1/2 cup Dari-Free milk substitute or equivalent 2 Tbsp sugar 3/4 cup mashed cooked sweet potatoes 2 eggs 2 Tbsp sesame seeds 1 large egg white, slightly beaten Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Empty mix contents & yeast packet (contained in mix) in large bowl.
3. Add sugar, milk substitute, eggs & sweet potato. 4. Blend with electric mixer until batter is thick & smooth. 5. Pour batter into a greased 9” x 5” pan. 6. Brush top with egg white. 7. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top of bread. 8. Bake in 350° oven for 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Note: If top browns before center is done, tent with aluminum foil.
