Bring the following to a boil in a saucepan over low to medium heat: 1 - 28 oz. can tomato puree Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Keep the pan covered. Meanwhile,
whiz the following in a blender until very smooth: 1 - 10 oz. box tofu 1 cup water 1 tsp. sugar (or alternative sweetener) 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. sweet basil 1/4 tsp. ground thyme Remove the tomato puree from the heat. Quickly pour in the blended tofu
mixture and stir thoroughly. Serve immediately. |
