 Sugar Cookiess

Source: Cindy Boyce, GFCF Kids

Ingredients:

1 cup of coconut butter or shortening

2 cups sugar

2 Tbsp egg replacer + 4 Tbsp water

5 cups gluten free flour mixture

1 tsp salt

4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup milk substitute

 

Instructions:

1.  Cream sugar, margarine and egg replacer. 

2. Stir in dry ingredients, alternating with milk substitute. 

3. Chill.

4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 

5. Roll 1/4" on wax paper and cut. 

6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes. 

7. Using the coconut butter chill cooked cookies ~ 5 minutes and then remove from sheet.
