Tomato Free Pizza Sauce

2 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. salt

2 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. oregano powder

3 drops anise flavoring

1 tsp. dried basil

1 tsp. dried thyme

2 tsp dried parsley

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup water

Working in a small bowl mix dry spices and powders. Stir in anise flavoring, stir in 1/2 cup water.  Spread a THIN layer on the pizza dough, concentrating it slightly around the edge, then add your favorite toppings and bake as usual. This sauce is highly flavored so a little goes a long way.
