Bite Sized Fruit Pies

1 package of Miss Roben's Pie Crust Mix, prepared
Pie Filling, as desired or jam
 
Prepare pie crust according to package instructions.  Crust can be shaped using a ravioli maker,  pocket pastry maker or by hand.  Fill, as desired. Do not overfill the crust or it will expand and break open during the frying process.   Brush a small amount of water on edges before sealing firmly closed.  Fry pies in hot oil (375 degrees) on both sides until golden, turning once. Or, use a deep fryer that is equipped  with a temperature gauge and fry until lightly golden.   Drain well on paper towels.
